This is a peculiar story. A man drowned because Google Maps didn't update

The family are suing because google refused to show the bridge had fallen in 9 years earlier

Google accused of directing motorist to drive off collapsed bridge
Google had been asked to update its maps in the nine years before the father of two's death.

I assume that common sense is also required at the wheel, not only to ensure the safety of other people and the environment, but of your safety. Also, shouldn't have local enforcement agencies have put up a sign saying that the road was impassable? I think that Google relies heavily on information on the ground on whether roads are closed

Maybe that's what happened, someone removed the barrier. But for 9 years of inaction, shouldn't the local district have done something in that time

Think I'll sue the owners of this forum. The missus got upset last night after seeing a private message sent to me by a busty young lady pop up on my screen. She thinks I'm having an online affair!! =O

    ME AS WELL.......

The lady involved has the same name as a US Air Force pilot - she is now a public speaker . But I don't think the pilot speaks Spanish....

I was about to send the name to Rice to see if she knew her. But the message has now disappeared.

I banned her/it by IP address, so UK Man can now have a reasonable explanation for the Missus.

If Mrs GJ had seen it , I would be in hospital ...

I am away next week for two weeks. Things would not have been pleasant in Escobar.

I think she said she wanted to get to know me on a personal basis. I was going to go back to it later to see who the joker was but the Admin bloke had eliminated the message.

Did the Admin boy get a message as well?

I think we all got that chat message. I don’t know how spam control goes on a forum but hopefully Splinter can protect us from it

I got that message, too. I am not Brit and not into busty ladies, either. :th_giggle01:

We can safely say it was nothing personal.

From our collective reactions, I can definitely understand why she(?) would want to develop personal relationships with us.
