Small tech job

  • On my last trip to the continent I discovered Temu. Ordered a wireless doorbell with a camera, but it is not working because they forgot to install two blades/plates in the battery compartment. It is a quick fix but I wonder where I should go in Argentina to get two sq. cm of metal to install in these slots. I believe they should be standard size since batteries are the same size anywhere.

Temu refunded me the item, but I haven't had the heart to throw away the whole thing on such a simple and quick fix (if I find it).

It would be quite easy to knock up a couple of metal plates from scraps that I have lying around. Alternatively, a friendly ferretaria would surely help. They are always very helpful in my experience.
