I doubt it. It's never friendly when England play any of the other two, especially in rugby.

What happened to the “United” in United Kingdom?

I caught a BBC report about the game. I didn't realise it was a friendly though. Talking of which, a friend of mine has just launched a book about a famous England v Scotland game. One I happened to be at.

Gubbed....which I suspected they would be. Always happens when the media builds them up.

Secret plan for the friendly - let them think they are better than us.
When it comes to the big game in a tournament that matters we will mollicate them!
Mollicate - Rice , do you like the word?
UK Man , did your mate do a book a while back on Third Lanark?
Or as my Dad used to call them Third Lanark Nil?

Yes he did. His day job is a golf journalist though.

There are players who aren't Londoners that were in the team...

Nice sounding portmanteau. I’m guessing mollify + obliterate?
Or is it an actual Scottish word? Sounds dangerous.

I didn't realize there were so many spelling possibilities.

Oh! We’ll, then. I can see that, beyond “mollicate,” there is lots of great material in the DSL!
