I am a fan of the chocotorta, which fortunately I can't make or I would be twice as much in size.
My sister in law does a killer chocotorta. She even handed me her recipe, but mine still sucks!

Tonight, I was thinking I'd like to taste sdemuria 's King Cake, Rice ! If *the* UK Man is coming, I need to brush up my Italian cooking skills to impress him, since he is the only person in the world who seems unimpressed with Italian cuisine.

I don't recall ever having heard of chocotorta nevermind eating it. I'll have to ask the missus as she's the expert on cakes. I did Google it and it showed some mixture inside a plastic cup with a cheap brown biscuit sticking out the top.
As for Italian cuisine. To be fair, apart from the crap they eat here my experiences of it are few....the lasagne from Marks and Spencer was nice. I'd love to try some authentic Italian fish and seafood dishes.
