How often should you change your sheets? Bedding manufacturer Amerisleep recently conducted a small study of bacteria counts in sheets and pillowcases, and the gross findings point towards the importance of at least weekly changing. The study suggests that sheets and pillowcases that aren’t laundered frequently can host as much bacteria as the most disgusting surfaces you can even imagine.

Our beds and bedding are cozy and comfortable, but are they as clean as we think (and hope)? In this post, we discuss the bacteria in our beds.

No idea how often the missus changes them....more in summer than winter I imagine. As for the company's OTT comments....they would say that if they're flogging the stuff.

Anyway, we share our bed with this little chap who must carry god only knows what on his paws. ^^

Carry on regardless. The exercise will do you good.
