Betelgeuse may go Supernova

It is claimed the giant star that completely dwarfs our Sun might go supernova

A little more than 650 light-years from Earth, an old, red star lies dying.

The only good news is that its over 650 light years away, so it will have very little impact on us, if at all

If it does go supernova, we will be able to see the exploding star with our naked eye, even during the day

That would be amazing to see!

Our area is supposed to have a glimpse of the Northern Lights late tonight. I’ll be watching! Saw them over Alaska years ago. Magical.
