BBC star presenter suspended in child sex scandal

A star BBC presenter has been suspended following a report in the Sun newspaper for allegedly paying £35k to a 17 year old unnamed youngster for providing sexual images.

Neither have been named for privacy and legal reasons, but social media is rife with speculation over who the presenter is, with top names having to come forward denying it was them.

The BBC handles such scandals so very badly that it should hire its own PR firm quite frankly.

Can anyone guess who the presenter could be?

But they did get hit hard by the Cliff Richard scandal, so I guess they're holding back this time, because its still at this point an allegation. They're obviously going to name the person if there are any criminal charges being brought to that presenter

This is all a bit rich coming from the Sun newspaper, don't you think? That rag showed topless page three girls up until 2003, many of whom were only sixteen when they posed for the camera. Sam Fox for example.

It's now emerged that a statement from the child's lawyer (the child is now 20 by the way) categorically states that the Sun's story is complete rubbish and that the 'victim' sent a denial statement by WhatsApp on Friday night with the same message.

Huw Edwards' name is being bandied about on Reddit as the 'star presenter' by the way.

What I’m concerned about is there is a rumour that the parents went to the BBC first, then the Sun. The police were never informed first, which begs the question, why?
