Google Analytics has some other interesting data too which I can share if you like.

This is for users by country as opposed to nationality per member, obviously.

At one stage the most popular thread was one by serafina about a book translation service which she reviewed.

I can't remember the name of the service but it got thousands of views.

I think it was the one about BabelCube. Maybe Google stats are skewed because of that post!

I’m always fascinated by the number of people who apparently sign up for forum membership but never post the first word.

Is the ad volume increased not slightly but considerably?

It's just been tweaked to have more ads appear, otherwise it's not worth it in terms of ad revenue.

May I ask what the total ad revenue in the past year has been, and what the anticipated revenue will now be?

Very low revenue of about £10 in the past year and the reason is because we don't have enough users/visitors to the site.

Only 1800 users/visitors in the last 12 months doesn't generate enough ad revenue, but a site with 20k users and above will be more successful.

I don't think you can even cash out £10 adsense can you? It's a while since I had a site using it and couldn't back then.

You're quite right. We have to reach a minimum of £60, I believe. At least that what it was when my YouTube channel was bringing in money before it was demonetised.

I’d be glad to pony up an extra £10 to get rid of the ads.

Are you saying that they're intrusive?

Well, yes. Of course they are. If they brought in £500 of income per year, perhaps that would make it worthwhile to put up with the irritation. But £10 ?

Seeing no ads this morning. Abracadabra?

From what I see he's deleted all his posts. :scratchead:
