It's a dreadful day - not cold but there is a cold humidity which makes it miserable outside.
I have never seen so many posts here on a Saturday morning.

True! Miserably cold weather drives Post volume, for sure. But with Cecilia’s murder, Argentine politics and inflation, the dollar, and the Russian coup, there’s also more for ArgentinaExpats to discuss than on the usual Saturday.
Rice , yip but on a normal Saturday we would all be in fancy restaurants spending our pesos if you believe some newspapers!
Aye that'll be right. I've just had a ham and tuna mayo sarnie for my lunch.
I'm never out on Saturday mornings anyway so the miserable weather hasn't changed my usual routine of doing sod all. Saturday afternoons are a differeñt story. We always go to the quinta where the missus and Nazarena will do some gardening while I try my best to skive.
At least it's mild as earlier this week it was bloody freezing out there!!

I was out in the garden and it felt okay. 15c the now and they say it'll reach 19c later. That's the equivalent of a hot summer's day in Glasgow!! 😁
You may call today a miserable weather, but be aware that the winter in BA is quite short. In the end of august you shall enjoy much better temperatures and sunny days,
Miserable weather is in COPENHAGEN, in winter. I have a friend that flies every january to BA because the cold is unbearable, even knowing that here the warm can be unbearable as well.
We’ve been there at Christmas time, and yes, it was cold. But even worse was the depressing darkness. Ugh! He’s lucky he can escape to Buenos Aires.

Yes, I agree. the long darkness of the Nordic countries are really depressing plus the cold. This is why they have very comfortable houses which are plenty of real dwelling spaces like the bow window, an extension of the house to capture the light,
A good example of this is the houses of charles rennie Mackintosh, the scottish architect
Carlos I had never put together the connection between dark winters and bow windows. Brilliant!
for this was sent to England a culturarl attache from the german empire to research on how the british were able to built bery comfortable houses, due to the harsh weather, similar to germany, in reality he was a spy, but wrote a verty interesting book titled 'Das englische haus; HIS name was HERMAN MUTHESIUS and popularizend the comfortable houses for the rising middle class. We in argentina have a lot of houses of that type which replaced the spaniard syle of homes inherited by our founders the Spanish,
That is fascinating. Thank you for today’s architecture class!
That is vaguely similar to our Michigan house, which does make dark days brighter because of a bank of 16 large windows. The huge downside in winter, though, is that this much glass isn’t exactly cozy in cold weather.
I wouldn't agree that the winter here is quite short because it can stay relatively cold until mid October in my experience.

I suppose it depends where you were based before coming here. The biggest plus for me is the amount of dry weather and sunshine we get in winter compared to Glasgow. Today is beautiful so I'm going to make a BBQ.
I don't see a goalkeeper.
Still lovely and sunny here.
