It's not clear yet who the man was who stabbed to death two 19 year old students, ran over three people and possibly murdered a third person, a man of 50 years.

The murderer has been arrested but the police are not confirming if the attacks were terror related.

It's truly horrifying, especially for the families of those killed or wounded.

My missus has just read it and said the UK isn't as safe as she thought.

It’s not fair to extrapolate from one horrendous act in an otherwise historically safe city, to then conclude that the whole country is unsafe.

    I don't but she does.

To be fair to her though. These sort of events events do seem to have been reported more lately.

It's much more common in Hereford as well, with stabbing being the preferred MO.

I talked with a policeman in the US not long ago. He mentioned that he’d been stabbed twice and shot 3 times. And that he’d choose being shot any day. Afterwards, I was sorry I didn’t ask him to elaborate.

Of course, he wasn’t shot with an AR-15, or he wouldn’t be around to tell the tale.

The world is a crazy place at the moment.

The UK is still safe, but there has been an increase in violent crime and people attacking innocent citizens.

Lets hope it is just spring madness and will stop soon.
