In this country there is no critique of sort. This means that a garble from a child is praised like a work of art of Marta Minujín.
If you read food pieces on La Nación, they are always praising or telling the family's story. There is no critique of the food. Argentinian don't like to criticize nor to be criticized so all is good, all is well. Except when reality hits.

Argentines are very sensitive to criticism and get very childish and hurt, throwing their toys out of the pram when challenged.
Most Argentine men that I know have a Mummy thing in that respect.

Indeed. I've always thought the men here were a bunch of mummy's boys.
My missus always thought my mother was a bit cold with me which I found surprising. Now I know why.
