L- Gante detained by police

    The Cumbia artist/singer has been detained by police for threatening people with a gun.

    If you don't know who he is, he performs Cumbia/rap, has millions of followers on YouTube, is linked to several high profile Instagram 'chicks' and lives in a luxury gated community near Moreno.

    He also likes loads of bling such as big, gold chains around his neck, big, gold watches, massive, expensive cars and chicks.

    I rather like Cumbia, but his isn't really my style.

    I'm not sure if he's been charged with anything yet, apart from being a bit of a prat.

    if Lgante is winning prestige in my country, to be honest we deserve the worst future and destination,

    I cannot understand where are the easthetics values of my fellow countrymen. this marks the bottom of our decadence in all senses.

    I see a lack of aesthetic culture in the young people, perhaps this is because we are from older generations and we do not unnderstand them. That is the reason why i am researching the concept of Beauty, which seems absent in the current universal culture,

    The cumbia is a type of dance and music that has born in the caribbean countries, especially in Colombia.

    it has nothing to do with our popular music, but is now, unfortunately much appreciated here to our shame.

    I regret that this type of person will become a stereotype in the anglosphere, again to our shame.

    No wonder if he is now imprisoned. I hope that he will not be the model of men for the future generations,

    The different criteria for beauty can be a generational thing, however the lack of values of the modern champions is what really baffles me. I can get the sexy one, the provoking one or the feisty one. What I can't wrap my head around is so many musicians who want to pass for gangsters. I believe it all started with rap in the US and cumbia is the same in Latin America.

    L-Gante is calling his entourage "mafilia", a word he created from mafia and familia. I don't get why being associated with mafia is prestigious. He gets his money from "music" (note the quotation marks), so he doesn't need to do illegal stuff to earn money. So why portray himself like an outlaw?
