The 'new' presidential jet made a ridiculously dangerous go-around over Jorge Newberry airport yesterday during a thunderstorm and heavy rain.
In fact, the jet was built in 2000 and is already ancient for which the government paid US$23million.

The pilot pretty much bullied his way through this and at one stage one of the wing tips was no more than 15m from the concrete of the runway. In very bad weather conditions as well.
Utter madness.

A fine example. No wonder the country's in such a mess.
Must admit, my bad side wishes it had crashed. As long as noone on the ground was involved.
The pilot, one Leonardo Barone, is in a very comfy position with this corrupt regime. He has free use of a 5000m2 hangar in Moron, is a partner in Global Jet Aviation and, according to Jorje Lanata, invoices the government around US$100,000 every month for his services.
He's had this arrangement since 2012 when CFK was president and the contract is renewed automatically without question.
Another cushy number for someone within the family circle.
And, not forgetting that this purchase, recommended by said Leonardo Barone, who allegedly benefitted from the deal, was the worst possible, bearing in mind the age of the aircraft and its obsolescence. No one wants to touch it.

I also had the same bad wishes, they deserves a huge disaster to end this sad story.
The pilot, one Leonardo Barone,
Who hails from here I see.
Only the best, UK Man !
Florencio Randazzo hails from here as well.
Is he still on the outs with Xtina?

I've no idea. Politics here just confuses me. Whenever he comes here he pops into the house across the road to see the bitch that lives there....she's in politics as well.
This plane which is about 23 years old and cost the previous government US$25million, may well be sold by Milei's government, probably at a loss.
Will we ever find out who got backhanders for the last sale/purchase operation ?
Fernandez or one of the lackeys?
