This kind of magic only happens once in a lifetime. You simply can't compare Messi with Maradona, because the latter was a showman. He was arrogant, he knew it and he had every reason to be that way, because it was in his nature.

He won matches because of it and in so many ways, he was in love with the ball.

It is often cited that he single-handedly won the league in Italy for Napoli. And he did! I never saw him play live unfortunately but anyone who did can consider it a privilege.

That video made clear his command of the ball. But the untied shoes?? Wouldn’t it have been a shame if he’d lost a match because he tripped on his own laces?

He was just warming up. He tied them up before the game started.

I assumed that he must have. But why even warm up with shoes unlaced? Part of his devil-may-care persona, I guess.

Double yellow line. But it is unlikely to be England.

    My bet is Ireland...

    Congratulations! You win!

Artist Chelsea Jacobs painted the mural near the Aviva Stadium in Havelock Square, just months after the legendary footballer’s passing

I had to cheat and use Google Image search.

Yeah, the mural does seem to be a bit darker than what Diego was
