Don't mess with my missus!!

The Chivilcoy car rally was on today but we weren't informed that access to the countryside place would be affected.

As usual we went to feed the dogs only to find 200 metres short of the entrance our way was blocked. Five Guardia Urbana staff including their chief were relaxing in the shade. No you can't go through they said. When does the racing start she asked.....doesn't matter you still can't go though. The missus drove through anyway.

I should say the council chief is well known to the missus and she sent him a Whatsapp asking him WTF was going on. Turns out the Guardia Urbana took a video of the 'event' and sent it to him. Here it is.

The missus was driving I was in the front passenger seat with a dog on my lap. Nazarena who does some paid gardening work for the missus was in the back with her two kids who regularly come along with her on Saturday's so they can use the pool. That's the MIL's car as the Oroch is in getting a bodywork repair.

The last time it happened, like yesterday, the race hadn't started. However, on that occasion they lifted the tape to let us though no problem. Yesterday however they point blank refused and said we'd have to wait several hours. What really annoyed the missus was we hadn't been informed the road was going to be closed. There's no other way in either as the only other road was closed for the rally as well. It was all rather silly considering we were only going a couple of hundred metres on a road that wasn't even being used for the rally.

Not very well trained ones either. Instead of helping us I got the impression they just couldnt be arsed lifting the tape for us to go through. Mind you, the missus can come over all a bit DYKWIA at times!!

It's Argentina!!

Being British I was all for negotiating and told the missus to ask them if we could walk the 200 metres. I was totally ignored.

Indeed Carlos. Considering we only had to cross 5 metres of the rally road before the race had even started it was all 'much ado about nothing'.

We should send them the bill for the dent made by the bloke who threw the tyre!!
