    Got mine done yesterday!

Got a friendly censure for having an out-of-date fire extinguisher. Told to get it sorted but I got my sticker.

Even though I live in the province, my car is registered in CABA

I imagine the province will be increasing their prices very shortly.

Given the amount of old bangers going about here the locals obviously don't give a hoot what the cost is. Why should they when nobody bothers pulling them up to check if they have it when it's obvious they don't. It's a joke.

Now they are almost double. What a fucking rip off and even booking it now takes 10x longer with paying online now obligatory, as opposed to at the VTV shed.

    Greedy bastards.

I should add that I'm only doing it because we're selling the car, or maybe we shouldn't do it and sell it as is. Also pensioners get 50% discount apparently, before it expires, but there's no way to get the discount online.

    Assholes.

This web page says you have to get the pensioners' discount in person, but the booking page says you have to pay in advance.

    Tossers.

I have been trying to order an apostille for my diploma. The system is a joke.

You have to identify yourself online using ARCA or MiArgentina to even access the TAD (trámites a distancia) page to reques the apostille.

It didn't work with MiArgentina, it worked with ARCA.

It gets to the payment page and you can't simply pay. No, you have to generate a VEP (sort of ticket) which you have to pay within 24 hours. To pay it, you have to pull it up from PagoMisCuentas.

I registered on PagoMisCuentas with my ICBC details and it says I never registered that account with them, and to do so I need to generate a Clave de Acceso at a Banelco ATM. So I had to go to an ATM. The nearest one was Galicia and it wasn't accepting my card PIN. So I went to an ICBC ATM and it worked and I was able to generate this "Clave de Acceso".

When I came back at my desk, I entered the Clave de Accesso and I was told I need to change it "for security reasons". Of course, 8 letters, one capital letter, one special character, 1 number, no more than 2 identical digits in a row, can't be your DOB, can't be the same as the last one etc etc

Well, I thought I was about to be done.... but no. My bank is not yet enrolled to pay directly from TAD. I have to login on ARCA and go find the VEP associated with my CUIT. I had to look for it manually, but the page to pay was a different tab on ARCA's website.

In the end, I was able to pay. But bless their heart the Secretary of Office of any US States where you can simply mail in a form and a check and you receive your apostilled record back in the mail.

Thank you for the support!
