Following last week's mini-budget, the Pound took a hammering this morning in early morning trading.
Its struggling back up to 1.07 mid morning.
Will we see USD-GBP parity sometime soon?
His budget was slammed by most people for helping the rich and wondering where the funds are going to come from.
Perhaps the GBP will rebound today, after the early morning news that Liz Truss reversed her position on cutting taxes for the highest earners.
That 1980’s idea didn’t improve the economy then or any time it has been hauled out in the ensuing 40 years. I have to admire her admitting the mistake right away instead of waiting until it took her down.
