No one is that tough. It’s completely set up.
The French would call it "a mise en scene". All was previously planned.

At least two public figures have now expressed their opinion publicly that the 'attempt' was rigged. One is a nephew of ex-president Menem and the other an MP in Santa Fe, I believe.
Naturally they've been scorned by their own parties and the rank and file. Watch this keep on dripping.

Had this been a real attempt, she wouldn’t have been allowed to continue mingling with the crowd. Security would never have simply that this was a lone gunman, acting alone, but would have whisked the VP to a safe place while they searched the crowd and nearby buildings.
And even a soldier with Special Services training wouldn’t have carried on, undisturbed, as if nothing had happened.
So what happens to the shooter? Was he promised riches and assured she would pardon him when she achieves the presidency again? And will he meet with a fatal accident before he talks?

Well done them.
He must obviously be a nutcase whether he was put up to it or not.

Apparently he's refusing to cooperate with the authorities. Not sure how much that says.

Or whether you can believe it. He may already have died ‘by suicide’ in his cell.

The CABA government is very happy that a judge previously has forbidden the presence ot the City of BA police. If not, the Rodriguez Larreta police will be, for the Kirchnerists, the promoters of the murder intention. Just luck, no?

Can someone please explain what about the situation suggested that there should be a national holiday? The would-be shooter must feel very important. (Has he been suicided yet?)

Sorry Rice , no one can logically explain why a national holiday was called. Most people suppose that Alberto wanted to allow CFKs supporters to be able to show their support.
It's a pity he didn't try and make a national call for solidarity instead of a call for the Kirchneristas to jump about the streets.
On a separate note, the girlfriend of our Argie-Brazilian friend has been detained . Still awaiting to see if she will be charged with anything .
Apparently, the Argie security forces are asking for help from abroad to see if they can fix the cell phone that they messed up...

The police have confirmed that their experts have found the attacker's DNA on the gun!!
Wow!
Considering he had it in his bare hand at the time with dozens of witnesses...
