Our Honda Fit/Jazz (2007) is fifteen years old and every time I go to have the VTV inspection done, I hold my breath. It's been two years since I last did it what with the pandemic, yet today it miraculously passed the test.
Just as well that this morning I double checked the lights and replaced a faulty brake light. I learned that lesson a few years ago and had already given the car a good wash and check over on the weekend.
But what a surprise to be informed that I will have to do it again in March 2023 because of a system change where the last digits of your license plate are used for when to do it or some other such bullshit.
Talk about deflating the fucking balloon.
