La Nación has a section with storied of foreigners who chose to live in Buenos Aires called La mirada extranjera. They interview them to know how they arrived, what they are doing and what lead them to stay.
Today' story is about Mike Scrimshaw, a marketing guy from Toronto who decided to leave his career and open a bar in Palermo (416 Snack Bar, Ángel Justiniano Carranza 1940, Buenos Aires). Why the name? It was his favorite place back home, so he decided to open his own version 9000 km away. Comments on the Internet say it is likely the only bar in Buenos Aires serving draught Cider, if that's a thing to our Canuck readers! And really cold beers!
