Why didn’t you immediately go back and buy 100?
Oh wait. It would ruin the game. I totally understand.

Yeah...been a basket case for years.
I am not a hoarder, I'm a prepper. I have a pantry. Our biggest threat is either earthquake or forest fire. I buy in bulk. Coffee, creamer, canned veggies ect. The list goes on. We could survive three months, well minus it not burning down. Two years ago in August forest fire evacuation from home. Got within a quarter mile. The empire is on shakey ground. Sadly when it implodes a lot of innocent people will pay. But our inflation pales in comparison to Argentina.

You can say that out loud, Gary Kipher . The psychological impact of the rising prices in pesos is noticeable, even if when converted to USD it is about the same, or a tad less, than it was before. However, it is just a matter of time before all vendors catch up and raise their price. It's a catch 22 situation, really.
For example, today I bought a sweater for 15,000 pesos. I think we paid 8,600 pesos a washing machine 9 years ago.
However, 15,000 pesos is just 40 USD. But so many zeroes make it look a lot more.
It took me a bit to realize you use a (,) were here we use a period. In regards to money. Example, ARS 1,500.00.
My apologies! I instinctively used my native language's decimal and thousand separators instead of the English ones. I have amended my post.
Oh, I don't mind just noticing. I told some of my friends about Argentine inflation. I tried to explain about colonial debt peonage and the IMF, but they lost interest (sarcasm)
Apparently there was DEFLATION in 2001when the shit hit the fan in December of that year. But Argentina is a complicated country and once the regime prevents you from getting at your hard earned cash (Rodrigazo or any other azo you may wish to call it), the regime is fucked. It's an admission of defeat - something this gang are determined to avoid.
But they can't, because it's too late.
Yep. We’ve had one of those too. Not fun.
