The first couple of months of 2020 were the last time we lived normally, in blissful ignorance of what lay around the corner. The rest of 2020 was an anxious time of terra incognita as covid grew, there was no vaccine, no one knew exactly what to do, and we’ll-known world “leaders” led by recommending bizarre home remedies like drinking bleach.
Once the vaccine became available in January 2021, the whole situation changed for those who had it. For me, personally, the year was much better, as fear of the unknown was replaced by the reassurance of facts as well as the protection of vaccination.
