We've just started The Handmaid's Tale, mainly to see what all the fuss is about. I also love tales of dystopian societies that often mirror, at least partially, what could happen.
The series has also become a magnet for the Me Too movement because of its story where women are used as fertile concubines. Some of those scenes are very hard hitting.
It's hard going at first, but I think we'll stick with it.
