The whatty?

I'm still shocked to how they lost that one. They scored a penalty, yet their egos thought it was a walk over after that

I wouldn't have minded putting a tenner on Saudi Arabia to win when they were 1-0 down!! I wonder what odds the bookies were offering....100/1?

Another shock!
Japan beat four times winners, Germany 2-1.

Probably a lot more than that

Not as bad as Saudi Arabia beating Argentina

I would say it was equally shocking considering how good the German team is.

Good? I don't think they're nearly as good as the national team of past years

Japan has some decent players - They weren't at the races in the first half but they played really well in the second. The coach also made a couple of really good substitutions.

Brazil 2 Serbia 0 and check out this goal!

Free World Cup drinks?
That's a scam though

A shocker for Wales, they lost 2-0 to Iran. But before they conceded two goals late in the game, they had their goalie sent off
For me, it was the very early kick off that wasn't in Wales' favour, where Iran are more acclimatised to the heat than what we or Wales would be used to

The whatty?
The Welsh forerunner of a kid’s hobby horse.
Mari Lwyd - Wikipediaen.m.wikipedia.orgAnd I should correct my earlier observation that, after saying beer would be available at the World Cup, Qatar changed their minds and, just before the opening match, announced that they wouldn’t be selling beer after all.
It seems that the ordinary fan can’t buy beer in the stadium, but people in the executive club boxes (membership US$22,500.00) are served alcohol.

There's a palpable air of expectation in the streets and a lot of people getting the shopping in before Argentina p[lay Mexico at 4 PM today.
Adri's lad and his girlfriend will be coming over to watch the match, but I've decided to jump on my bike and enjoy a peaceful ride into the centre - Plaza de Mayo, 9 de Julio and take in the atmosphere from a different perspective while filming on my GoPro.
I'm sure that if the silence is broken by huge roars and horns blaring, then Argentina will have scored.
Besides, I have no wish to suffer in front of a TV for 90 minutes.

My husband is SO happy that, today being his birthday, he can watch Argentina in the World Cup, then two consecutive American football games this afternoon and tonight, with no argument from anyone!
I envy soccer fans the 90 minute game time . American football stretches on endlessly, ending after an eternity, in the neighborhood of 4 hours.

Happy birthday to the Boss!

Thanks, GlasgowJohn . It’s a beautiful day - sun shining, lake glistening, about a hundred white pelicans gathered to fish, and ARGENTINA JUST WON!

Yip , two excellent goals.
Lots of parties starting in my street. And a few will drive the 60 km to the Obelisk..
Me, I will have a few beers.
We hosted five 11-year-olds for the game. Its been a tough couple of hours.

The best time to see BA using a bike is when all people are watching TV as you will do, No piquetes, no traffic, a delicious promenade.
