Seemingly I was wrong. I asked the missus and she said all those invited to the reception did give us a gift. I got confused as not all those who attended the church were invited to the reception. Word had got around that a Scotsman was in town to marry a local so the chapel was crowded out.
Here's a pic.
Lovely photo, mate! You both look very elegant and Mrs UK Man is a real looker!
I didn't have fun at my wedding I am sorry to say. Mrs Semigoodlooking was typically verygoodlooking, and I loved marrying her. However, I just didn't know anyone at our wedding that well, with no friend or family of mine present, I felt like a bit of an outsider at my own wedding. Actually gives me badmemories to look at the photos of that day.
Mrs Verygoodlooking and Mrs UK Man just go to show why we Brits married Argentine women! Very attractive ladies indeed.
I hear you on the feeling like an outsider, mate. It's taken me a while, too.

It was a very similar situation for me. No family or friends from my side were there either and my Spanish was non-existent . I still feel an outsider to be honest. Great picture!

Well said!!
Agree on Mrs Verygoodlooking — you three Brits definitely married beautiful Argentine women. And I know Mrs GlasgowJohn is in the same category.
Even with family and friends around, most grooms seem to be out of their element on their wedding day. Still, once that is over, look at the prizes you all wound up with!

You wanna see her when she's angry!!
Not with me of course...I'm perfect.

Is that your lovely lady holding a British passport?
Yeah, my passport.
Why did that fella Ricky Phillips write that to you, as a joke?
What a bloody moron.....
He thought he was being funny, especially since he has fallen out with so many Argentines over his Falklands/Malvinas war books.
Completely out of place and thus removed from my Facebook connections.
What a bloody moron.....
He's seen and photographed Nessie you know....nuff said.
Splinter - what a TOSSER! (Did I use that right?). I didn’t see your post earlier; it looks as if we were posting at the same time.
I don’t do Facebook, so don’t know how it works. Can you block him and ninnyhammers like him?
Yes, tosser is entirely appropriate and I have indeed banished him.
We've been married a week today and haven't had an argument yet!

Enjoy...
Anyway, this is the song we danced to immediately after my speech.
It really says everything.

That is all a record. Do it forever, congratulations.
