Surely it would have been cheaper to change the dollars at the blue rate and pay in pesos? Either way, cash transactions don't induce people to provide receipts because they don't like to declare it.

The transaction was done at the Blue rate...the wife's daft but isn't daft when it comes to handing over money. Believe me I know!!
