My homage for Scotland's day and art.
And a happy day or, more correctly, night, to you and all the clans!
Mackintosh was indeed an outstanding architect and even today you can see some of his work in Glasgow city centre.
In the latter part of hid life he dedicated a lot of time to watercolours and his paintings have been exhibited in many of the worlds leading museums.
I always use an entire class dedicated to Mackintosh, and my students are excited for his work.
Also I show the latest watercolours that he did at the end of his life. A pity that after WWI he was sent into oblivion, a thing that perhaps caused his depression.
On the other way, I always stress the fact that Scotland is a nation, with their own particular characters, that will not be confused wity England, which lies south of the Adrian´s wall.
Scotland was never romanized, as England and Wales was. That is the difference.
And Scotland has produced many inventions, more that any other Western nation, proportioned to its population.
Long life to Scotland, then!
And of course we gave football to Argentina.

Yes, and the first inmigrants from the British islands were the Scots, which arrived in 1824 and settled near Lomas de Zamora. In 1827 they built their own Presbyterian church in Av. Belgrano, in classical style made by architect named Adams. I do not make any confusion with the Anglican Cathedral, in downtown. That was done by teh English.

Well, not to go that back in history. Perhaps Scotland of about 400 years ago.
5000 years ago Scots, and many important european nations were in the Neolithic period.
