Just before midnight a heck of a wind suddenly got up here.Told the missus not to panic as I suspected it was just the colderr air arriving. Much cooler and fresher feel this lovely sunny morning.

Well it seems to have held off.
I watched a video of him singing Blackbird last night.
He’s 82 so the fact that he can perform at the River Plate stadium tells its own story.

There was some sun when I got up a while ago. However it's now what the forecast said it would be...overcast and dull. At least it's to stay dry with a high of 22c on the cards. The rest of the week is to be similar.

After a mostly dull 18c day yesterday today is looking much cheerier. Currently 14c and sunny in between high wispy cloud. To get into the low 20's they say.

Been raining here for several hours and it's still raining!!

Rain just started in time for the end of the school day. So I had to go and pick the lad up to avoid him getting wet....he's carrying a slight cold that we don't want to turn the cold into the flu.
Fine drizzle for an hour but it's now been raining fairly constantly for the last two hours.
And now we have a wee bit of thunder....

Just in from the garden after being out with the dogs and it's still raining albeit lightly. 3.5mm today so far so the missus is happy as it'll save her having to water her plants.

After yesterday's 30c it didn't go below 20c during the night. It's currently a sunny 27c morning here with a high of 32c forecast for today. Thankfully there's a breeze blowing so it might not feel too bad.
