Must admit I'm no regular cigar smoker but I do like the odd one, especially on a horrible weather day like today. Tobacco is the one thing I really enjoy about living in Argentina compared to the UK...not only is it very reasonably priced it's of good quality.

My favourite cigar brand at the moment is the domestically produced Cienfuegos. After trying several of their range I have narrowed my favourite down to the ''Original'' size. I paid 150 pesos the other day for one and it's fantastic quality at thatprice.

My uncle died from lung cancer recently. The way he went, as I was told, was horrific. They say that you can die anyway, but I don't want to go that way

Although it would be normal to assume that smokers are more at risk, there have been some articles actually suggesting an inverse relationship between smoking and COVID-19.

This article attempts to dispel misinterpretation and misinformation. I hope it is helpful.

Getting high, a feeling of being laid back etc, etc. Millions of people enjoy a joint for their own reasons, just as you are free to enjoy your reasons for not partaking.

We smokers know that it's a dangerous habit, but it's our choice.

This, to me, is a reasonable example of personal freedom. Since smoking is no longer done in restaurants, bars, hospitals, public buildings etc, it is a danger only to the smoker, not to the public at large.

Very different from the lame whine that requiring vaccinations or masks in order to be in the same public venues is somehow a denial of personal freedom.

So long as you keep out of my way and in the smoking area, I don’t care what you do

Ha! I’m not sure that secondhand smoke IS just as dangerous as the delta variant, but in any case, the point is that smoking is illegal in places where secondhand smoke would be inflicted on others. If people want to smoke at home, they are free to make that choice.

Sarcasm, again, with the covid situation at the moment, its best you keep away from me if you weren't being sarcastic

There's a lot of misinformation on the internet. Another point is, I would try my best to avoid COVID without the need of swapping it for another evil in society that is smoking
