Over the next day or so, the forum will be moving and migrating from GoDaddy to ProStack, a hosting company based in the UK. They have all the up to date features that the forum requires, a support team that's based in the UK as opposed to the other side of the world and security and speed features that the forum needs.
The reason for the change is that GoDaddy's database software is out of date and no longer compatible with current versions of the forum software from WoltLab, which has been preventing us from upgrading.
Furthermore, Godaddy doesn't even have a roadmap for upgrading their servers to the latest versions of MySQL (5.6 to 8.0), so it was time to move on.
The new version of the forum (5.4) has some great new features, including Rich Embeds which show a preview of all URL links, among other features.
The support team and engineers at ProStack are currently working on the migration, so it should be completed in a matter of hours, hopefully with no downtime.
Further updates to follow.
