It's been a disaster ever since it exploded by the looks of it
One thing they seemed to have an oversight is why they didn't line the shelter with lead, or did they think they would have dismantled it within years, only to find they can't actually do it?

Talking of nuclear power, Argentina has two nuclear power plants and one being constructed with the Chinese.
At the moment they both produce about 10% of the country's power with the remaining power coming from hydroelectric and natural gas plants.
Atucha I has apparently gone down today for unknown reasons related to the demand caused by the heatwave.
