Must admit I hadn't a clue who Martin Guzman was until I read this. My first thought was he was a mafia man....I wasn't far wrong.

I heard a story saying that Guzman was asking the Pope to use his influence with devout catholic Joe Biden to get the USA to send us more vaccines.

Certainly possible, knowing these guys.

Guzman could have saved the flight to Rome. Biden’s Secretary of State just had another COVAX meeting with diplomats from Europe and Asia, about supplying vaccine to countries that don’t have it. Earlier this month, the US sent millions of doses to Mexico and Canada, but it needs to continue ramping up production to get help to South and Central America as soon as humanly possible.

I doubt that the Pope would stoop to asking a US president to send supplies to one country over another. But if he did, I’m confident Biden would not be told which country should jump the queue.

Now if the decision were up to ME, I’d send it to Argentina before any other country, and LONG before giving it to insurrectionists in the US!
