A farce in Vea today!

    The other week when we were in supermarket Vea we saw they had an offer on Tofi Alfajor Negro...buy 3 for 65 pesos. We bought three to try and they turned out to be very moreish.


    So next time we were in we saw boxes of 36 stacked in the aisle so took a box and had no problem at checkout. Today we decided to get more after seeing the offer was still live. As they had no more boxes we grabbed 30 loose ones went to checkout and the girl refused to let us pay for half of them them. She said the offer was limited to 15 per person but there was no sign saying so. The missus said we'll take 15 each then as we're paying in cash it won't make any difference. Again she refused saying we'd have to go to another till to buy the second 15. WTF?


    We've shopped there for years and know most of the staff including the ones that served us today. Considering the dodges Vea get up to with their pricing I thought it all a bit rich!!

    There's definitely an increase in "That's more than my job's worth" employees today, especially when they're wearing a uniform.

    They must look after their staff well though. All the checkout girls are the same ones that were there ten years ago. That or they're on the fiddle.
