Acorn TV is bombarding Facebook with ads and on further investigation it costs $5.99/mo or $59.99/pa with about 300 different British TV shows at only 720p.
It's available in Argentina but it's only compatible with certain devices, but not many smart TVs. I'd have to connect my PC to the LG smart TV which isn't a problem if I wanted the service badly enough.
They have some really good TV shows including the Miniaturist, Foyles War and other mystery and detective stuff.
Anyone tried it?
Haven’t tried it, and am wondering how much overlap there is with BritBox, which I know isn’t currently available in Argentina.
It is certainly well priced, and worth a trial month or two.

Here's a list of free streaming services, bearing in mind that you'll need a VPN with most of them if you don't live in the US.
