Terrific control, in horrendous circumstances!
Desdemona, an unlucky ship that ran aground off Mar de Ajo in 1983 and later off Rio Grande, Tierra de Fuego.
In 1985 she suffered engine failure after departing Comodoro Rivadavia and the captain beached her at Cape San Pablo, Tierra del Fuego, so that she would wreck on the rocky coast.
She has been there ever since.

A hard ship to sink.
Good on him to row the Atlantic with no modern navigation for a worthwhile charity, but as one of his colleagues said, he will need a sense of humour.
HMS Prince of Wales leaves Portsmouth for sea trials ahead of handing over to the Royal Navy. A magnificent vessel.
Magnificent, indeed! Is it really being towed by that tiny tugboat?
Oh yes. They have very big engines!
A nice day out with the girls.
The incredible life and times of Joshua Slocum, the first man to sail around the world, alone.
"You must know the sea and know that you know it. It was meant to be sailed upon."
What an incredibly lonely time that must have been!

You can never be lonely with the sea. I know I wasn't.
Life on a cold war submarine.
My dad did this in the 60s.
How did Lionel Buster Crabb meet his fate?
I have great admiration for people who can handle being on a submarine. I’ve only been on a 2- hour tourist submarine dive to see tropical fish, and I couldn’t shake the claustrophobic feeling. Being in a real, functioning submarine for weeks? Eek!
I had a cousin that served on our nuke subs!!! They were out at sea for months, and until the day he died, would not say one
word about there operations. I do not believe I could have survived, being cooped up in a tin can!!!!
This is Jeff Bezo's new yacht, Koru, which is over 400 ft long.
A beautiful vessel and such a change from those gin palaces that the rich favour so much.

Gorgeous!
In an election year, don't expect this government to confirm Peronist links to Nazi Germany and the cosy, shared relationship. Transparency? With this government? I don't think so, but let's hope that the useless opposition keep pushing.
This article by Laurence de Mello discusses what can only be described as a cover up because the government simply doesn't want to admit that the submarine found in the sea off Necochea is indeed a Nazi submarine.

I would also like to point out that the top photo in the article is in fact a different German submarine and was found off the coat of North Carolina, USA. Why this image was used in this particular article is anyone's guess. If I were the author I would have it either edited or removed.

PostAdolf Hitler in Argentina - a story of plagiarism
A few years ago we watched Grey Wolf on Netflix, an account of how Hitler escaped to Bariloche and lived there until his death in 1962. Little did I know at the time that all the material in the film (and book) had been plagiarised from Argentine investigator/author, Abel Basti.
Also a few years ago, when a group of four of us were banned from that other place, we started a new forum with one member being Laurence de Mello, an investigative journalist and film maker. She is the author of this…

Paragraph 1, paragraph 2: so what is it? A U-Boat or an amphibious craft? Either way it's pretty obvious that from the Argentine Government's point of view, it's all Macri's fault.
