People protesting against the extended lockdown (which I think has now reached farce level), the draconian clampdown on exchange controls and the sinister judicial laws.

Will these protests change anything? if they become a Tsunami, then yes.

More to the point - especially if most of the protesters are from the middle classes, a group that this populist government wants to hammer anyway, not the classes that they see as their voter base - i.e. the ones on state benefits.

And now we have the union ass-lickers announcing a march in support of the regime for October 16th.
