He can't bring himself to actually concede.

I don’t think it matters really
What worries me more is Pompeo’s political ambition, the democrats better not let down their guard
Democrats have won control of the senate after winning two seats in Georgia.
The Proud Boys surround the Senate Building, they were even inside the building at one point
Only for 12 fucking hours? Twitter has really got to be serious, right?
See? All boring, right?
Well, Nixon could be saying “Why didn’t I think of inciting insurrection?”
Bernie steals the show.
This article will become one of the first fog-clearing timelines of the trump coup attempt. Very well worth a read (main article as well as its sidebars) for citizens of the US and for all who value freedom in their own countries.

Rice ...And so now all conservative citizens who voted for Trump are considered domestic terrorists!!! I have little faith
in anything the NYT writes. Their was more that went on in the 2020 election than you or I will ever know, but we both
will have to deal with the one that was elected President, like it or not.
daniel, I hope you will actually read the whole article, despite your opposition to the NYT. I’ve read the entire report twice; it never says or implies that everyone who voted for him is a domestic terrorist. Please don’t confuse by trying to argue from the specific to the general. [All Dobermans are dogs, but not all dogs are Dobermans. All carrots ore vegetables, but not all vegetables are carrots. All those who stormed the Capitol, threatening the lives of congresspeople, support the former president, but not all who support the former president stormed the Capitol.]
Some of my conservative friends who voted for the former president are appalled that he incited a band of ACTUAL domestic terrorists to break into the US Capitol to stop the final count of the votes that had been duly certified by each state, in order to help the former president pretend he had been re-elected. They are at least equally appalled at the battle cries, which included “Hang [republican VP] Mike Pence,” who was in the middle of doing his job of accepting the count of those certified votes when the marauders broke in.
Some of my conservative relatives who voted for trump still do not even acknowledge that the insurrection happened, or that ANYTHING happened on January 6.
Some conservative congressional/senatorial “leaders” vary by the day, both condemning the terrorists’ and former president’s actions and subsequently currying favor with the cult and its leader.
And some of those “leaders,” having for weeks repeated to their voters the baseless lie that votes were stolen, now are saying “I owe it to my constituents to demand additional recounts instead of accepting the certified totals” - because they have been listening to their own repeated lie.
Future tin-pot dictators can certainly learn from us.

Rice ... And this is why politics should never be discussed between friends. Maybe we can agree to disagree, and
get on with life.
If politics can’t be discussed among friends, then where, and with whom?
And maybe, just maybe, we can learn from each other?
I’ve often heard people say they don’t like the former president’s vulgar talk, his pretending to embrace the teachings of Christ, his encouragement of violence, his documented 30,573 lies while in office, his separation of immigrant children from their parents, his $3 trillion in tax cuts for the top 1%, his tripling the national debt, etc etc . BUT they supported him because they liked his policies.
I would truly appreciate it if someone would help me understand which policies those are. My mind is truly open to learning. And we all learn best from those we like and respect. So please teach me? I do want to be able to understand. Thanks!

People have the right to know about politics, after all, its these loonies that keep running the show. In some ways, it's lucky to not ruled by a dictator or a monarch who rules like an authoritarian
