You’re right, of course, serafina ; I don’t know why one form of disincentive should stand out to me when there are so many. And no, I didn’t know about the ban on meat exports. Why? Surely not a shortage in Argentina?

You’re onto something, Semigoodlooking - - there must be 🎼 🎶 Fifty Ways To Lose Your Security Guy. I’ll start;

#1. Create subtle leaks in the roof of the new place. Lots of them.

#2. Pour gasoline on his chair and light it.

#3. Install a speaker just under his new digs, and play a constant stream of rap music while he’s on duty.

Not as much fun as the leaky roof or chair-in-flames solutions, but more tactful, if not as permanent.

God dammit, this thread was a source of entertainment. Maybe some updates on the legal battle Man in Hut will now wage on your neighbours, Splinter?

Install soft lighting in the hut, buy a manikin and dress it in a security firms uniform.

Great idea...it's a perfect size to meet the one customer at a time rule.

We have a 'gated' community close to us. It has a resident caretaker/security who lives on site in a very nice small bungalow. I peronally think it's not needed and it's all for show just to make it more 'exclusive'. All very OTT for a small town out in the sticks. Epecially as the towns troublemakers seem to spend their time fighting and robbing amongst those in their own neighbourhood.

That street is dangerous to cyclist during weekends. There are cars and bikes and it is narrow.

I doubt all the bicycles will fit in the dedicated lane, though. I remember swarms of bikes during the weekend in summer.
