Covering the cost of mandated 2-week traveler quarantines

We have discussed the required traveler quarantines, how they are enforced, and who pays. I learned this week that Hawaíi is requiring a 2-week quarantine even for people from other states. And the 2 week period can’t be spent self-isolating in a condominium or house, but must be spent in a hotel, @ USD $200+ per night.

Has anyone been able to find out who picks up the tab in Argentina?

No joke, daniel . Actually, most hotels are closer to $400, if you want your confinement to include a glimpse of the beach and ocean you can’t get near. So a visitor would have to give up 2 vacation weeks and pay $3,000 to $6,000 to stay in a hotel room 24 hours a day.
