For awhile. some seemed to be considering the possibility that Albie could actually be in charge. But during the quarantine, thoughts are turning back to the puppeteer.

Cristina Kirchner has had her double pension put on hold.
In other words $2m per month and $100m retroactively while pensioners have to make do with a pittance. This court appeal was brought about by Macri's party apparently.

Yaaaay for them!!!

I honestly don't give two hoots who's in charge here. As far as I'm concerned you have to be mentally unbalanced to want to do the job in the first place anyway.
Even a sane person would never be able to get this country back on the right track nevermind a nutcase.

Oh my GAWD - her facelift has melted and the rhinoplasty needs to be redone. That nose has grown to mirror the one characaturist draw on her.
But I digress. What is WITH a political leader so desperate to hide his/her own failure to deal with Covid that they leave themselves with no option besides pretending it doesn’t exist? And of course SHE has been vaccinated, unlike her SUBJECTS, who have not yet been offered the vaccine.
I agree with Splinter : just put the damned mask on, already!

"Do as I say but not as I do." Don't you think she's dressed like she's off to a birthday party?

She’s dressed liked the birthday cake.

Apparently there was a furious argument between the two of them the other day when Cristina arrived for a bite to eat at the Olivos residence.
It's reported that she was furious over Alberto's delay in appointing the new justice minister (one of her close friends), Martin Soria.
Alberto is said to have uttered "If you're not happy, I'm off then." (read into that what you will)
To which she is said to have replied, "No one's going anywhere!"
Soria is quoted as saying that one of his first jobs in office will be to do away with the so called lawfare, Cristina's way of describing the corruption and other charges she is facing.
One is left with the impression that albert is now feeling the pressure of the pre-election agreement that she forced down his throat.
-
And wouldn’t it be fascinating to know the terms of that agreement....

On March 24, Cristina Kirchner said Argentina can't repay the IMF debt because it does not have the money.
On or around the same date,President Alberto Fernández was telling the World Bank officials that Argentina will honour its debt.
On Sunday 28th March, President Alberto Fernández said that Argentina's debt with the International Monetary Fund is "unpayable" in its original form.
Who's in charge?

Do you really have to ask?

I think I know what he meant, but he took it out of context and the world jumped on him.

Alberto Fernández: Argentine president apologises for Brazil comments

Talking out his arse as usual...

I think you are cutting him too much slack. It was a comment born out of his and Argentina's feeling of superiority and that being European and white is superior. The biggest problem is he is fundamentally wrong even if you think the context was different.

What he meant?
That the country was built by immigrants, but he screwed up.

That the country was built by immigrants, but he screwed up.
So, he was saying Argentina was built by immigrants whereas Brazil and Mexico were not? Aside from it being factually incorrect, why mention Brazil and Mexico at all?
