serafina , see my post above, with the US map, and check Louisiana! When you grill corn, I assume you leave it in the husk?
No, it's peeled bare.

How awful! It would dry out and burn so quickly! Next summer, try grilling in the husk - the whole husk without the ends cut off. You’ll love it.
The world may be slowly coming around to a vegan point of view - slowly - but at least consumption of beef is trending downward, even as chicken consumption is increasing.
For the earth, that’s a good trade.

But reading the article makes me long for Don Julio’s bife de lomo, jugoso.

I don't have a problem with people eating greens and beans if they want to....veganism does seem to be more about fashion than anything else especially for those in the media spotlight. I really can't be arsed with that type.
I'll be trying to cook these on the bbq over the weekend.
I remember my Argy fishing mate made them once when inviting us over for dinner....not a patch on the real thing. Hope yours turn out better.
Those look scrumptious. I thought that rubs and marinades were anathema in Argentina?
As for vegans, my favorite cousins have been vegans for over 20 years, not to be trendy, but because they gradually grew to understand that they could personally do something about cruelty to animals (feed lots, etc). They started small, then realized they felt better and didn’t miss the animal products they’d given up, so they expanded the vegan diet and today, their diet is completely vegan, they are really healthy, and they eat great tasting food. I applaud them.
Glad to hear it. I'd have done them in the oven grill as well. I couldn't be arsed to light a fire just for them.
Looks delicious!
