Talked to my cardiologist today and he has recommended I go for the Sputnik - Moderna combo...

He is not a government man so his opinion is worth listening to.

He also mentioned that his Dad got the Moderna second dose on the back of a Sputnik first dose and is fine apart from some mild muscular pains.

I’d guess that Moderna is a step up from Sputnik. I’m glad he gave you his opinion.

Rice, Sputnik is recognized as a decent vaccine and good quality . The problems are logistics and the inability to provide dose no2 in a timely fashion- not really sure of the reasons.

3 months and 4 days and not heard a cheep. but I'm still hoping for the Sputnik 2. To be honest they could inject me with vodka and I wouldn't know the difference.

An 'old' classmate of the missus who like us is pissed off waiting for the notification of her second vaccine to show up on the App decided to go to the vaccination centre today to ask them WTF was going on? Good for her!! The person she asked looked for her name on their lists and told her she is due to attend on the 22nd of this month for the Sputnik 2.

We're going tomorrow to inquire.

Well we didn't have to go to inquire. This morning our Apps showed we have to attend next Thursday to get our second vaccination.

Someone we know who got the Sputnik first got the Astra Zeneca for their second. Which according to what I've read isn't a good idea. To be honest I've read so many conflicting reports on the subject I haven't a clue who the heck to believe.

He also joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation’s Global Health Discovery team in Seattle (USA) as Senior Program Officer before working with the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI) in Geneva as Senior Ebola Program Manager. At GAVI he tracked efforts to develop an Ebola vaccine. He also represented GAVI in fora with other partners, including WHO, to review progress on the fight against Ebola and to build plans for global pandemic preparedness.

He then joined the German Center for Infection Research in Cologne as Head of the Vaccine Development Office.

Yes. He strongly recommends stopping COVID vaccination immediately and treating people with therapeutics, such as ivermectin, fluvoxamine and hydroxychloroquine, although he doesn't get specific aboout that. Remember, vaccines do not treat disease, unless they are sterilizing, and the COVID vaccines are not sterilizing.
