Hey everyone!!

  • Hey!! My name is Diego. I'm a 35-year-old local male from zona sur, just outside Capital Federal. I graduated from law school (UBA) about 6 years ago, and am currently working in a small law firm. I've discovered that law isn't really my thing so I'm looking to change job fields. Since most of you are foreigners living in Argentina (I assume), I was thinking maybe you could have some interesting job offer to share or come up with some idea that could be suitable for me. Perhaps some job that requires having a contact here in Argentina (e.g. selling imported stuff). If you think of something, please let me know. Thanks in advance for any ideas/info!!
    Regards,

    Diego

  • Welcome on the forum, Diego85 . It is nice to have a local among us.

Selling imported stuff in Argentina seems to be something that only a few can manage. I'd be interested to know how this is done and what's the mark up to make this business sustainable.

  • 'Imported stuff' could be anything, so it's always best to specialise and to know the complicated procedures, people and bribes involved.

    Indeed.

I suspect like most money making schemes here it's a case of who you know rather than what you know. I'd be surprised if Diego doesn't know that already though. ;)
