Semigoodlooking ..........I vote for number two......

Came like a thunderstorm, fucked up a lot and made a mess........

But I have had a funny feeling that it will cool down rapidly also.......

UK Man ...... exactly.....who was the clever ones, (maybe by luck), we don't know yet!!!!! The whole purpose of trying to control it was to avoid to put an overload on all capacities at the same time, hospitals, emergency facilities etc.......

Otherwise it would be better just to let it move on after a quick consolidation time....

Another thing to think about: maybe the virus have actually been speeded up by all the internations in hospitals etc.......many hospitals are hotspots and a great way of how to spread the virus among the risk group......

Imagine this Mr. John Doe got it, and is gonna die, one way or another......but on his way to Michael Jackson in heaven, he passes by the hospital and manage to contaminate and spread the virus to maybe 10 or 100 that suddenly get in a life threatening situation! So by trying to save Mr. John Doe's life was suddenly a bad investment.....

I have decided months ago, one place I DONT GO is to the hospital......unless I'm really in serious serious trouble.....so if i would cut my finger or have some emergency accident, I would with all means try to stay away from the hospital.....

Math help sought: one is from the CNN and one is from La Nación. Mathematically speaking, they are both right. Journalistically speaking they are in disagreement.

We filled the car up one week before the quarantine - We still have half a tank .

Most people will be the same . If they pay me , I will go and fill up my tank.....

But will the price of petrol come down?

Mark this as a silly question.

Those people are dangerous ignoramuses. And what appears to be a grassroots demonstration turns out to be funded by right wing organizations and promoted by the president on Twitter.

Thursday he promoted “liberating” Virginia, Minnesota and Michigan, a state in the Top Ten winners of the fastest growing number of Covid-19 cases. Protesters complied with their funders and their promoter-in-chief by turning up and blocking traffic in the state capital, preventing more than one ambulance and many nurses & doctors from reaching the hospital.

Oh, they were also handing out candy to children, without a mask or gloves in sight. Maybe they are just overzealous fans of the state who want it to be #1 in SOMETHING, anything. Even covid-19.

    The American dream?

Although Boris Johnson’s plan for step-by-step reopening has drawn criticism for being too vague, I found myself feeling envious as I watched his address, because it was reasoned and required the absolute cooperation of the public (“The next step will be taken IF AND ONLY IF we have reached this goal”).

I hope other leaders of the free world can learn from him.

Yeah, As repulsed as we may be by their very presence on tv, when presidents pull those disappearing acts, we start to wonder why?

He doesn't need charts, or arguments with journalists and just speaks to you, the viewer. A far cry from what our friends from over the pond have to put up with.

I will respond with this post.

Our church had it’s first meeting after stay at home restrictions have been eased. I called my pastor and asked about wearing masks and singing, he said masks would not be required. I for, for one, did not feel the need to expose myself, in a closed buildings, with people singing praises. Bottom line, I did not attend, and will not, until common sense is being utilized. I know, as a society, we want to return to normal, but our new normal may be far from normal. I am not afraid of this virus, but I also know if I contract this virus, it would not be good, so where and how do we regain our trust.

daniel .....I fully understand, and it's probably the most clever to do.

A Finnish friend of mine visited me here in Tigre Sunday.........he is 74 year old and all in all ok fit. But, he had a few operations lasts years.....so he would be in risk group I think.

He visited the dentist short before the quarantine, and 5 days later got most of the symptoms of coronavirus, including high fewer, 39c+......which he told me he never ever have, or for decades haven't had. He is medic/veterinarian himself, very knowledgeable about everything in this field. He told me he would bet he got the virus and got over it!

So my point: it can really be it's better to self expose to the virus at a certain point, because it looks like we all gonna get it at some point!

Whether you're right or wrong, tell that to the 75-year-old who exposes themselves to COVID-19 and dies. It could just be your friend got lucky. Perhaps some kind of herd immunity would help the general population, but I don't see how it's going to help people in the most vulnerable age group.

Lets say for the easiness the risk group is only people from 65 and up.....

How many of them, percentage, will die from chinese virus????

A minimal number! Not one percent, not even 0.01% will die from it, would be my guess! So might be better just to get over it and move on......With the 0.01% chance of dieing!

Louisiana’s statewide Stay at Home order is being lifted on Friday. Businesses are being phased back in, starting Friday, with rules about the number of customers allowed in at a time, safety measures that must be in place, etc.
