In the UK, they're saying that the infection rate may have stalled following the lock-down and some are taking no chances at Tesco.

And an RAF Hercules practises landing at London City Airport.

Yesterday, in Italy there was a considerable drop in the number of deaths, that went from 800+-900 deaths to 500+. A positive signal, but too soon to sigh in relief that we're over it.

    Yes, far too soon.

People are certainly not behaving very well all over the world. In Hereford, where my daughter lives, staff at one shop have gone home in tears due to the abuse received from customers.

Of course, this staff member could be lying...

In Italy, doctors and medical personnel can jump the lines at supermarkets.

Meanwhile, some people go to the supermarket every day to stroll.

This frustrated supermarket employee in Palermo is shouting at people for going there to buy €6 worth of food every day! He's putting his life on the line for pittance, and people who are lucky enough to be able to stay safe at home are not taking advantage of their privileged position.

I don't know how to embed the video in this post. Splinter, can you help? I tried to post the <iframe> in the code directly, but nothing is being shown.

You can only copy and paste video links from media providers like YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion etc. It doesn't work with videos inside news reports.

One way of getting around it is to look for the video in YouTube, if they have a channel. EG:

The end of the War? The influence of the barbaric Yanks? What was it about September 1945, a date before any of us were born, so certainly can’t remember?

I still think British politness exists, but it has been eroded for sure. I think this was a major contributor to that erosion:

Council Houses? How so? And weren’t they around a long time before 1945?
