Hi, I have just visited Argentina for few days, and I use VPN in my daily usage. I am wondering is legal to use a VPN here? or should I stop using it here?

I don’t think there is anything preventing you to use VPN. It is just a tool. Now, why you use it for can infringe terms of uses of a specific service/vendor.
For example, using VPN to bypass geo-limitations on multimedia content may be forbidden by your multimedia provider.
as far as I know, there is no fine for it.

Thanks Serafina for answering, Yes i usually use it to bypass Geo restrictions or to secure my connection while using public wifi.

There's nothing illegal about using a VPN anywhere, as far as I know. I often use one for buying software and games due to regional pricing and payment methods.
Opera browser has a built-in VPN and I use Hola! for watching certain sporting events where you're location has to be UK, for example.

I had a paid subscription to Nord VPN for two years and it was not any good to watch Hulu. It was too slow and the servers got blocked every so often anyway.

Serafina, I would suggest you to try ExpressVPN or PureVPN. They are oldest ones in industry and also they have multiple servers for streaming in different countries. Also I would suggest that use there OpenVPN protocol while doing the streaming on Netflix or Amzon prime, as its most secure protocol and does not get easily detected. VPNs are legal everywhere, so the question is moot. What you use the VPN for is another matter, such as illegal file downloading.

A couple of years ago I bought a two year subscription of Surfshark VPN for $60 and now it needs renewing at $60 for just one year. Not exactly bait and switch, but expensive all the same, so I cancelled the renewal.
I've used various VPNs over the years, including free ones which end up as freemium usually and not very good at all with a lot of drop offs.
Surfshark has been very consistent with hardly any loss of speed at all, but $60 is expensive, so I may well wait for another two year offer, since lifetime VPNs are a thing of the past. Monthly subs are where it's at today but Surfshark don't do monthly payment plans
