The beginning of a revolution or will the protesters just be dealt with using extreme force?

That got embedded just fine Ben, as far as I can see.

I installed a media providers plugin which displays a preview (just like the BBC article I posted) of major media providers and I'm working on a more universal preview plugin at the moment.

The Syria situation is surely a cold war by proxy from the Russian point of view?

As will the Iran situation, should things get serious there.

It has been widely reported that Libya was a last straw for Putin, and he took the imagery of Qaddafi's death rather seriously.

For him, there is basically only upside from opposing the US's freedom agenda at every turn. Particularly in what is to a large extent a client state.

The current protests in Iran are spreading around the country with several deaths, including protesters and a number of police.

Given the tyranny of the regime, you'd be very brave to protest there. I wonder how this will end and if the regime will crack down more heavily, especially given Trump's recent threats.

Footage shows violent clashes as Iran protests spread to more areas
Semi-official Iranian media say two police were killed in a western town, as videos show security forces firing guns and tear gas at crowds elsewhere.

Trump, who is inflaming the current protests with thousands now dead, has just told the protesters to keep protesting because 'help is on the way'.

The Islamic Republic leaders are now going to execute at least one protester, possibly tomorrow.

Trump probably believes that Iranian soldiers are similar to their Venezuelan counterparts.

I fear this will become a horrible mess....

That would bring them even with the US, with one protester executed by each.
