I would have thought the company the courier works for would have to take the rap....in any normal country they would right enough.
Far more interesting to read in the article was to see the Argentine unemployment rate. It's very much lower than I thought it would be. Only twice that of the UK.

You can trust Argentines to wring as much as they can from any legit service so that they can use it for they dark deeds.
Unless I'm 100% certain of the contents, I won't deliver the package using my bike. In fact, only this morning I was asked to pick up a rabbit near where I live and deliver to an address about 30 miles away.
When I asked if it was a live rabbit, since it could have been a toy, depending on the context in Spanish, they never got back to me.
