The wife has just informed me the banks will be closed tomorrow due to it being the 'day of the banker'....
Recently the schools were closed for the 'day of the teacher' and I'm pretty sure there are others as well throughout the year.

Excuse me for laughing. You all know that I love this country, but the excessive number of public holidays is insane. What next, the Day of the cartoneros? the Day of cinema ticket sellers? The Day of vegetable truck drivers?
In other countries, there are certainly similarly named absurdities (Nurses' Day, for example), but at most they mean everyone gathers for coffee and cake during the morning break, rather than staying home from work.
my real estate friend Carlos always laughed about when it's day of real estate agents........he would have fellow agents calling from which he would know nobody, and wishing happy real estate Agent day!!!!!!! Hahahaha
I always call them real estate crooks, half fun half serious......

And tomorrow? (Those lucky ones would get a 3-day holiday!)
