You can buy a ticket from Retiro to Cordoba for as little as AR$500, for example. Not sure if it's a return though, but either way, it's a bargain.

I have just seen an ad from Iberia showing Buenos Aires to Barcelona (round ticket) for shy of 28k pesos, which is 424 USD with the 66 exchange rate we got this morning.
It is no longer worth going to Brazil to save! Europe is cheaper!

How long does the train take to Cordoba? The train from here takes 4 hours to cover the 100 miles to Buenos Aires and that's on a good day.
